Everyday comes more proof that the government is wrong and everyday the government keeps pushing back with the same old diatribe. The President first made light of our efforts when just after the campaign was over he asked for input. He posted on his campaign website that Americans should tell him what they wanted, and America did. They told him they wanted to legalize marijuana. The President took the call in a televised town hall meeting and quickly made light of it. Not long ago youtube did the same thing and again the American people told him they wanted it legalized. He completely ignored it. These were people who have been on the front lines of the war on drugs, members of LEAP, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, he ignored them.
Then he goes to South America and gives some off the wall excuse why he can't do anything about it, the laws were the laws. Well Mr. President these are the same laws GW Bush had to work with and he didn't do near what you are doing.
Now we have this;
The study, by scientists at the California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute, is raising hope that CBD, a compound found in Cannabis sativa, could be the first non-toxic agent to show promise in treating metastatic forms of breast cancer.But Cannabis is a schedule 1 narcotic according to the government. Very harmful to you and of no medicinal value. They know this. They know whats going on and they are using the paranoia, "Reefer Madness" mentality that is ingrained them. To keep this illegal. This is an outrage. This is why I fight!
“Right now we have a limited range of options in treating aggressive forms of cancer,” says Sean D. McAllister, Ph.D., a cancer researcher at CPMCRI and the lead author of the study. “Those treatments, such as chemotherapy, can be effective but they can also be extremely toxic and difficult for patients. This compound offers the hope of a non-toxic therapy that could achieve the same results without any of the painful side effects.”
